Acclaimed Punjabi singer-turned-actor Raj Brar’s unfortunate demise had left each one of us in tears. A veteran singer like him had produced numerous hit tracks during his career. A movie of his which was left unreleased due to some reasons is finally seeing the daylight today. Starring Late Raj Brar, the movie is Jagtar Uttam’s ‘Aam Aadmi’.
The trailer of the movie was released on the YouTube channel of Folk Entertainment Studio about four weeks ago. At the time of writing this article, it has received in vicinity of three lakh views on the same platform.
‘Aam Aadmi’ will mark the directorial debut of Jagtar Uttam in the Punjabi film industry. He has also penned down the story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie. Apart from Brar, the movie also stars Kiara Rana, Sukhvinder Raj, Goni Saggu, Gurman Gill and others.
It is evident from the trailer that as the name of the movie suggests, it is based on the life and struggles of a common man. The movie is also likely to portray the fight of a common man for his rights. The protagonist in the movie will be seen fighting a political battle against a settled opposition in a bid to accomplish his mission.
Joy Atul, Randy J and Gold E Gill have given the music in the movie. Written by Lakhwinder Maan and Kuldeep Malke, the songs of the movie are sung by Late Raj Brar, Savitaj Brar, Parrav Virk and Reet Kaur.
The movie is produced by Gurinder Singh Gill (Garry) and Vipandeep Gill under the banner of The Yellowhead Films. It will receive stiff competition at the box-office from Abhishek Sharma’s ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ and Deb Medhekar’s ‘Bioscopewala’.
