‘Aate Di Chidi’ Trailer Review: Punjabi Mania presents before you full Trailer Review of Harry Bhatti’s ‘Aate Di Chidi’.
Having co-directed ‘Rabb Da Radio‘ and directed ‘Sardar Mohammad‘ last year, director Harry Bhatti is back with third movie named ‘Aate Di Chidi’. In which will be a festive release, it will hit the silver screens on this Dusshera, i.e., October 19. Releasing on a festive weekend should aid the movie in enhancing its box-office numbers.
The movie stars Neeru Bajwa and Amrit Maan in lead roles. Maan, who had made his acting debut in Pankaj Batra’s ‘Channa Mereya‘ last year, will be seen playing a lead role for the first time in his career. Other than the lead pair, the movie also stars Sardar Sohi, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Nisha Bano, BN Sharma, Anmol Verma, Harby Sanga and Nirmal Rishi in pivotal roles.
The trailer gives enough evidence of the fact that Aate Di Chidi will be based on the cultural values of Punjab and is highly odds-on to enhance them as well. Ten to one it will be a case of NRIs coming back to India in search of their deep-rooted forgotten values especially when it comes to matters regarding their parents and children. Given the prevailing condition in the state, the subject is likely to click both critically and commercially.
There is no hiding to the fact that the trailer also gives a hint regarding the overall concept being repeated in some ways. That being said, it is a too early to say scenario. Since every writer-director duo has a varying vision for a script, what writer Raju Verma and director Bhatti have added to this movie or what they eventually aim to convey will only be known after watching it. As of now, the blend of an adroit star cast, a need of the hour concept and a finesse director is all in likeliness to bode well for the movie.
The trailer of the movie had released yesterday on the official YouTube channel of Lokdhun Punjabi. At the time of writing this article, it has received nearly 2.5 million views on the same platform.
