Ksshitij Chaudhary’s ‘Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua’ is all in readiness to hit the big screens on this Friday, i.e., 13/04/2018. The trailer of the movie was released during the last week of March on the official YouTube channel of Rhythm Boyz. At the time of writing this article, it has received in excess of 2.5 million views on the same platform.
In Harish Verma and Simi Chahal, the movie stars a fresh lead pair. Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma and Anita Devgan are playing vital roles in the movie. An imperative part of the cast of the movie includes Amrinder Gill, who will be seen playing a cameo role in the movie. Despite the fact that he will be seen for a limited time on the screen, his fans look prepared to occupy all of the cinema halls. Accompanying him will be his ‘Angrej’ co-star, Aditi Sharma.
Coming off after an affluent ‘Vekh Barataan Challiyan’, Ksshitij Chaudhary appears hot to trot in delivering another waggish feather in his cap. Written by Dheeraj Rattan, this romantic-comedy has a sense of secrecy attached to it. Lack of lucidity around the role of Amrinder Gill in the movie is likely to pull audiences to the cinema halls. It is evident form the trailer that the movie is a satirical take on demonetisation which happened in November 2016. Thus, becoming the first movie to cover that arguable topic.
The movie is produced by Karaj Gill and Talwinder Hayre under the banner of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment & Hayre Omjee Studio. It is co-produced by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Amiek Virk, Munish Sahni. Writing straight from the shoulder, the movie is bit of a self-effacing affair which seems to be driven by nothing else but the supreme quality of its content. Rakesh Dhawan and Surmeet Maavi have written the dialogues of the movie.
Already a melodic hit, Jatinder Shah’s work as a music director is being praised vividly. The songs of the movie have been penned down by Happy Raikoti, Bir Singh, Harmanjeet, Sabir Ali Sabir, Bikk Dhillon and Sidhu Sarabjit. Amrinder Gill, Sunidhi Chauhan, Bir Singh, Gurshabad, Gurpreet Maan and Bikk Dhillon have lent their voices to the songs. The team, as a whole, has worked wonder for the movie.
The movie is expected to receive tough fight from Shoojit Sircar’s ‘October’ and Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Mercury’ throughout the nation. However, in Punjab, given its release on the Baisakhi weekend, it is expected to stand tall on its expectations.
