Meet the characters of ‘Kaka Ji’: Punjabi Mania presents before you a brief about all the character of upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Kaka Ji’.
In whose release date was preponed by a week to January 18 next year, the characters of Mandeep Benipal’s ‘Kaka Ji’ have been disclosed by the producers Dreamreality Movies and Ravneet Chahal today. The movie is expected to be on comic lines. Kaka Ji will see Dev Kharoud, Jagjeet Sandhu, Dheeraj Kumar, Aayushi Sharma, Sehar and Lucky Dhaliwal.
While the makers have made public the first look of the leading characters of the movie, we will tell you in brief about each one of them.
From working in theatrical plays to TV serials to movies being shelved to not getting any work at all in movies, Kharoud has now turned the tables to become an A-list actor in Punjab. Having delivered three super-hit movies in as many years, Kharoud officially announced himself in the elite list of leading actors in the Punjabi film industry earlier this year.
Having mostly done action roles, Kharoud will be seen playing a much lighter role in the movie which is expected to be on comic lines.
In all the above-mentioned movies, where Kharoud was seen playing intense roles, there was also an actor in Jagjeet Sandhu to balance out the equation in terms of providing the comic factor to these movies. Having made his debut in ‘Rupinder Gandhi – The Gangster.. ?‘, Sandhu hasn’t looked behind ever since to the extent the audiences bust into laughter with the mere presence of him on the celluloid.
If sources are to be believed, Sandhu has been given a more focal role in Kaka Ji.
Much like Kharoud and Sandhu, Dheeraj Kumar is another product of the theatre to the Punjabi cinema. In the movies that he has done so far, he has the fortune of playing diverse roles. The best part part about each one of them is that he has come out with flying colours every single time. In Kaka Ji, he and Sandhu will be coming together for a film for the fifth time in the last three and a half years.
From making her debut as a model in Sajjan Adeeb’s ‘Aa Chak Challa’ to getting her maiden film in a span of a year and a half speaks highly about the craft of this former Miss India Intercontinental (2016). Talking of music videos, she has also appeared in Preet Harpal’s ‘Pagg Wali Selfie’, Mehtab Virk’s ‘Saade Baarah’ and most recently in Ammy Virk’s ‘Hath Chumme’.
In Sehar, Kaka Ji will the mark the debut of another actress who is likely to star opposite Jagjeet Sandhu.
Since the first part of the Rupinder Gandhi series, Lucky Dhaliwal has been a constant face in Dreamreality Movies’ projects. Having played vital roles, Dhaliwal has impressed one and all with his roles.
