‘Qismat’ completes 50 glorious days in cinemas: Since its release on September 21, ‘Qismat’ has continued to rule the box-office.
Jagdeep Sidhu‘s ‘Qismat’ has become only the third Punjabi movie to complete 50 days in cinema halls this year in India. Before Qismat, Ksshitij Chaudhary’s ‘Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua‘ and Smeep Kang’s ‘Carry On Jatta 2‘ had achieved the feat this year.
An archetype out-and-out love story, Qismat became an epitome of success in the Punjabi film industry, stating that if the key individuals stick to what is necessary in the script in the most genuine manner, a more than just watchable product is bound to be made.
Apart from stellar performances from Sidhu, Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta, Qismat also incorporated a blockbuster musical album, something which added immense value to the movie.
Credit also goes to White Hill Distribution, who had distributed the movie across the globe. It is the hard work of a distributor which aids a movie in reaching its most apt target audience.
Here is hoping for others to take a leaf out of Qismat’s book for it is vital to sort things out ahead of the plethora of movies which will be releasing next year. Watching more and more movies achieve this feat would be the best way to go forward next year.
