Synopsis

Mukk Gyi Feem Dabbi Cho Yaaro is a social comedy–drama that follows a habitual drug user whose life revolves around his daily dose of feem (heroin). His routine collapses when the supply suddenly dries up, forcing him into involuntary withdrawal. What starts as a desperate hunt for drugs turns into a chaotic journey through family pressure, street-level absurdities, and unexpected self-reflection. As the protagonist struggles to cope without addiction, the film uses humour and satire to expose the harsh realities of substance abuse—its grip on the individual, its ripple effects on family relationships, and the social ecosystem that quietly enables it. Beneath the comedy lies a clear message: addiction isn’t just a personal failure, but a cycle sustained by circumstance, denial, and easy access—one that can only be broken when the user is forced to confront life without the “dabbi.”
