"Pyaar Taan Hai Na" is a heart-warming Punjabi drama written and directed by Arvinder Kaur and produced by Ranjeet Singh and Prasanjeet Singh for PrinceRaj Productions. The film follows Kawal and Manisha, college sweethearts from Punjab whose relationship was destroyed by jealous relatives. Decades later Kawal has emigrated to Australia and raised a son, Anurag, while Manisha’s daughter, Arpita, grows up in India. When fate brings Anurag and Arpita together as university students in Melbourne, the young couple fall in love and unwittingly reopen the wounds between their parents. As the two families meet again, long-buried resentment, unresolved feelings and cultural expectations surface. Their journey is guided by colourful characters like the well-meaning but overbearing Jija G and the strong-willed Manisha’s mother. Arvinder Kaur draws sincere performances from actors Manu Brar, Sukhmani Sahota, Amit Singh Saini and Sunny Tamber to explore how love endures across time and distance and how reconciliation is possible when families confront manipulation with honesty. Shot against picturesque Australian settings with Punjabi traditions at its core, "Pyaar Taan Hai Na" celebrates love’s resilience, the power of truth, and the importance of second chances.
