AP Dhillon Pens Heart-Wrenching Song on Kolkata's Doctor Rape Case

While the whole nation is demanding justice for the 31-year-old trainee doctor, who was raped and killed at R G Kar Hospital in Kolkata, the Punjabi singer AP Dhillon recently opened up on the same. He made a song on this incident to which he lent his own voice and shared the song on social media. 

Punjabi singer and rapper AP Dhillon lent his voice to the inspiring chorus demanding justice for the 31-year-old trainee doctor who was tragically raped and killed in Kolkata. AP Dhillon is known for his emotive performances.

In the meanwhile, he used his platform to express his grief and outrage over this heinous crime through a heartfelt song.

Dhillon's track on Kolkata's doctor rape case is absolutely raw and is dedicated to saving lives. The song even questions the grim reality faced by women, and asks whether being born a girl is viewed as a curse in today's world. 

Through his Instagram stories, AP Dhillon shared his distress and urged his fans to listen to his song.

The case has sparked nationwide outrage and protest across India. On August 9, the body of the 31-year-old post-graduate trainee doctor was found inside the RG Kar Hospital. Later, a civic volunteer was arrested in connection with the rape case, and the Calcutta High Court has since then transferred the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
