In what has come as a source of amazement for a glut of fans of the Punjabi movie industry is the announcement that ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’ is all in readiness to hit the big screen on June 29, i.e., exactly half a dozen years after the first movie of the franchise, the path-breaking ‘Jatt & Juliet’ had released. The makers have settled on a plan of action in terms of releasing the movie on this date for they don’t want to let go off the propitious date.
Not one but all of you must be inquisitive about this announcement which has come without any notice. You must also be pondering as to how in the modern-day digital world, a news of this significance was kept hidden. Well, the makers had planned to surprise the audiences hitherto. With less than three months remaining for the release of the movie, they had come to a conclusion that this was the perfect moment and Punjabi Mania was the perfect platform for them to announce the movie officially.
The movie has been shot in two parts. The first sequence of the movie was shot in Punjab and the next one in Canada. Making the third instalment of the ‘Jatt & Juliet’ series with a star cast as high-profile as this one and keeping everything under the umbrella, one has to take one’s hats off the makers who did not let any kind of news or photos being leaked.
If reports are to be believed, Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa will yet again play the celebrated role of Jatt and Juliet in the movie. It is also said that the photos uploaded during the song ‘Raat Di Gedi‘ was related more to the movie and that the song was also a promotional track for the movie.
