Punjabi Munda Diljit Dosanjh has been on a role for quite a while now. He made his Bollywood debut with the highly controversial film, Udta Punjab in June this year. His Punjabi films – Ambarsariya & Sardaarji 2 made money and & his singles Do You Know, Dhan Guru Nanak & 5 Taara (released December ’15) were all big hits.
Now, Diljit is in the news again. This time he is sharing screen space with some of the Biggest names in Indian film Industry with none other than Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor & Sushant Singh Rajput. All the actors will come together in an Actor’s roundtable with Film Critic Rajeev Masand who is known for his roundtable interviews where a group of Actors, Actresses, Directors, Writers come together & discuss cinema.
This years, the actors coming together in the interview have all delivered fine performances in their respective releases so far. Amitabh Bachchan has had a powerful ‘Pink’ to his credit. Ranbir was adorable in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ though the film was pretty average, Sushant Singh Rajput had an unforgettable M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story and Shahid and Diljit together were marvellous in Udta Punjab.
Diljit is the only debutante on that list with others being bigger names. We are pretty sure that this was a big moment for Diljit and we as Punjabis are proud of his yet another achievement.
Diljit is currently doing Colors Rising Star as a judge, his 1st reality show. Also his new single Lambadgini (?????????) will be out later this month and his Upcoming films are Phillauri (Hindi) on March 24, 2017 with Anushka Sharma and Super Singh (Punjabi) on June 9, 2017 with Sonam Bajwa, directed by Anurag Singh.
