Ranjit Bawa begins shooting for 'Kale Kacchian Wale': The singer-turned-actor has begun shooting for his upcoming Punjabi movie.

Singer-turned-actor Ranjit Bawa has begun shooting for his upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Kale Kachhian Wale'. Announced in the first week of November, the movie is being produced by superstar Gippy Grewal under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures.

Earlier, Bawa had taken to his social media platform Twitter account to make public necessary details about the movie.

Written by Harsh Rana and Chanchal Dabra, Kale Kachhian Wale will mark the directorial debut of Maneesh Bhatt. Apart from working as a DOP in several Hindi movies, Bhatt has also played the same role in Smeep Kang's 'Carry On Jatta 2' and Simerjit Singh's 'Mar Gaye Oye Loko'.

Having already worked twice with Grewal in 2018, it is no surprise as to why Bhatt is being launched as a director by the former.

As far as the shooting of the movie beginning today is concerned, it was also announced by Bawa in the form of an Instagram story.



 

While there was no official confirmation about the lead actress of the movie, Punjabi Mania had speculated that Sapna Pabbi has been cast to play the lead role opposite Bawa. The same was later confirmed by the latter in the form of a tweet.

Having made her debut in the Punjabi industry with Mar Gaye Oye Loko, Pabbi worked alongside Grewal in his own directorial 'Ardaas Karaan' last year.
