The Sabarmati Report OTT Release Date Update: The release date for the upcoming film "The Sabarmati Report," starring Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna, has been adjusted. Initially set for May 2024, the film will now be released in theaters on August 2, 2024.
Vikrant Massey took to Instagram, and wrote: "Re-opening files of The Sabarmati Report, in cinemas on 2nd August!"
In 'The Sabarmati Report', Vikrant Massey portrays Samar Kumar, a vernacular journalist who partners with a fellow reporter played by Raashii Khanna and a senior anchor portrayed by Ridhi Dogra. The film is directed by Ranjan Chandel, with Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan serving as producers.
Currently, Vikrant is enjoying the success of his film '12th Fail', directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie, which became a hit through word-of-mouth towards the end of last year, has grossed nearly Rs 60 crore worldwide. "12th Fail" is based on Anurag Pathak's book and tells the inspiring story of IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma, who rose from extreme poverty to become an IPS officer, with significant contributions from his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi.
The Sabarmati Report OTT Release Date Update:
The makers of 'The Sabarmati Report' have not yet confirmed any OTT release date, as of now. However, there might be further announcements regarding the streaming of the movie online after its theatrical release. However, there are high chances that the film gets released on Zee5.
