As the third anniversary of Sidhu Moosewala’s tragic death approaches, his mother, Charan Kaur, has once again voiced her grief and relentless demand for justice. In an emotional social media post, she shared how life has been unbearably incomplete since the murder of the popular Punjabi singer.
“As a mother, my heart breaks every day,” she wrote. “Since your absence, every happiness and desire has faded. Life without you feels incomplete.”
Kaur reflected on her son’s childhood dreams, recalling how he once spoke about his ambitions. “When you grew up and succeeded, it was your success that worried our enemies,” she noted. She added that the family’s only solace now is the love, respect, and loyalty Moosewala continues to receive from his fans worldwide.
The heartfelt message has once again stirred emotions among Moosewala’s supporters, who have consistently demanded justice since his killing. Across Punjab and beyond, fans continue to remember the artist whose songs became an anthem for youth.
Murder and Investigation
On May 29, 2022, Moosewala was gunned down in broad daylight near Jawaharke village in Mansa district. The assailants fired more than 30 rounds, killing the 28-year-old singer on the spot. The shocking attack sparked outrage across India and abroad.
Investigations pointed to Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar as the alleged mastermind. Over the years, multiple arrests have been made across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi, while some suspects were killed in police encounters. Yet, Moosewala’s family maintains that key conspirators remain beyond the reach of law.
Family’s Continued Fight for Justice
Since the tragedy, Moosewala’s parents have led a tireless campaign for accountability. His father, Balkaur Singh, has repeatedly urged the government to bring the accused hiding overseas back to India to face trial. The family has also criticized investigative agencies for failing to nab the central figures behind the murder.
Now, with Charan Kaur’s latest message, the pain of loss is once again evident, and the cry for justice rings louder. For Moosewala’s family and millions of his admirers, the wound left by his death remains unhealed.
