'Tauba Tauba' seems to have worked its magic as Vicky Kaushal's new romantic comedy 'Bad Newz' has become his career's biggest opening so far. 

The film is helmed by Anand Tiwari And star cast include Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. Vicky Kaushal seems to be on a roll again. The actor has been basking in the limelight ever since his smooth grooves on Karan Aujhla's song 'Tauba Tauba' went viral in no time. 

Now, he's proven his worth as a star at the box office with his new romantic comedy, 'Bad Newz'. 

Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk starter opened at Rs 8.50 crore in India on Friday. It's backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. 

In the meanwhile, 'Bad Newz' has beaten Vicky Kaushal's 2019 blockbuster 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' to become the biggest opening for the actor in his career so far.
