The Punjabi industry is in full bloom this spring, with back to back announcements and releases. All Punjabi artists are super busy this season with new work and fresh projects slated for this year and the coming year.

Last year, a new film had been announced titled Patang. After a lot of speculation and anticipation by the audience, the release date of the film has been announced. Forthcoming film ‘Patang’ is all geared up to hit the cinemas in this year only. The movie is slated to release on 18 August 2023. The movie will be distributed worldwide by the Omjee group.

Patang stars the super talented and celebrated actor of Punjabi cinema- Prince Kanwaljit in the lead role. Popular lyricist Jassi Lohka is also all ready to make his acting debut with this movie. Along with playing a role in the film, Jassi Lohka is also producing this much awaited project.

The film is being made under the banners of Desi Junction in association with Brown Town Music, and is being bankrolled by Jassi Lohka and Nav Sandhu. Along with being Lohka’s debut acting project, Patang will also introduce him as a producer in the Punjabi industry. The movie is being directed by Prem Singh Sidhu.

The fans are elated that the release date has finally been revealed by the team. Prince Kanwaljit and Jassi Lohka will both be seen in rusty look in the movie. Audience is eagerly looking forward to this new exciting project.
