The celebrated Punjabi film and Hindi television actress- Sameksha Singh, best known for her roles in Hindi serials like Porus and Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, took the plunge and tied the wedding knot with the popular Punjabi singer Shael Oswal in an intimate wedding ceremony.

The duo tied knots in a simple and private ceremony in a local Gurudwara in Singapore on July 3, 2020. Both the artists were open about their relationship and were often seen posting pictures with each other on their social media handles. The news of the wedding was a no-shocker for the fans who were excitedly looking forward to this great union.

The duo’s families could not attend the wedding but witnessed the whole ceremony virtually. The couple got married on the auspicious day of the birth anniversary of Shael Oswal’s father who passed away in 2016. This is a second marriage for both Sameksha and Shael. Sameksha has a son from her previous marriage and Shael has two daughters from his first marriage.

Sameksha and Shael have collaborated for music videos in the past and fell in love with each other after their first project together which was a music video titled Makhmalii Pyaar. The duo recently released a new music video Tere Naal, which is getting a great response from the audience.The newlyweds are head over heels in love with each other and are excited for their new phase of life.

After the wedding, Sameksha Singh has changed her Instagram handle name from Sameksha Singh to Sameksha Shael Oswal. According to sources, in the coming future the actress has plans of getting into scriptwriting, direction and production, and intends to revive the production house set up by her father-in-law.
