Television actress Mahhi Vij took to social media to pen a deeply emotional birthday message for her close friend Nadim, offering a glimpse into the strong bond they share. Along with a photo of herself feeding him cake, Mahhi described their connection as one that goes beyond arguments, silence, and misunderstandings.
In her post, Mahhi admitted that like any close relationship, theirs has moments of conflict and distance. However, she noted that no matter how long the silence lasts, it eventually fades because of the deep understanding and emotional closeness they share. The post comes soon after Mahhi and actor Jay Bhanushali announced their divorce, ending a marriage that lasted nearly 15 years. The couple had earlier confirmed their separation through a joint statement on social media.
In their message, Mahhi and Jay shared that the decision was mutual and made with peace and maturity. They emphasised that their separation was not driven by negativity and that they chose personal growth over public drama.
The former couple also reassured fans that their three children — Tara, Khushi, and Ranjveer — remain their top priority. They committed to co-parenting with love, respect, and responsibility, while continuing to support each other as friends.
