After Lawrence Bishnoi attacked Gippy Grewal, another news of a gangster attack has been surfacing on the headlines. It has been reported that after a brief encounter last night, two people who were recognized as shooters associated with Arshdeep alias Arsh Dalla gang were taken into custody by the Delhi Police Special Cell. 

The defendants were identified as Punjabi citizens Virender Singh alias Vimmy and Rajpreet Singh a.k.a. Raja alias Bamb. Following a brief gunfight in the early hours of Monday, a senior police official said that the two were taken into custody from the main road leading to Akshardham Mandir, which is located across from Samachar Apartment in Mayur Vihar.

Moreover, it has also been reported that during preliminary investigation results showed that Arsh Dalla gave Raja and Vimmy the order to murder Punjabi singer Elly Mangat. Last month, the accused tried to kill him, but they were unable to do so since Mangat was not at home.

Delhi Special Commissioner of Police, HGS Dhaliwal revealed to news portals, “During encounter, five rounds were fired by the accused persons of which two rounds hit the bulletproof jacket of the police. In retaliation, the police team fired six rounds upon the accused persons. One revolver .45 mm with 06 live cartridges and another .30 mm pistol with 07 live cartridges along with a hand grenade and a stolen bike has been recovered from the possession of the accused persons.”

Meanwhile, for those who don't know, 27-year-old Arshdeep Singh, who is from Dalla village in Punjab's Moga district, is associated with extreme groups like the International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) and the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). Notoriety for partaking in many forms of organized crime, Arshdeep is also connected to the known Canadian criminal Goldy Brar.
