The Punjabi industry is expanding and gaining immense popularity throughout the length and the breadth of the country. Punjabi cinema is rapidly growing and in its journey of growth it is welcoming many new artists with open arms. Punjabi cinema is known for providing opportunities to the sprouting and rising talent. This season, many new films that will introduce fresh faces and new artists, have been announced.

The much awaited film of the season, Ardab Mutiyaran, which is slated to release on October 18, 2019, will also introduce a budding artist to the Punjabi film industry. The name of this new artist is Ajay Sarkaria and the actor has already managed to win many hearts with his performance in the trailer of the movie.

Ajay Sarkaria who has earlier worked as an assistant director for a film, will make his acting debut with ‘Ardab Mutiyaran’. Ajay who belongs from a political background, has studied law from the Punjab University. Before entering the showbiz, Ajay was confused that whether he should pursue acting or if he should get into direction. Later when he worked as an assistant director for his friend’s movie, everybody suggested him to choose acting as his career.

After making his career choice, Ajay started his journey of fitness, and also decided to take formal training for acting. In order to learn professional acting, Ajay went to New York to do a diploma in acting from the prestigious New York School Of Acting. After completion of the diploma, Sarkaria went to the city of dreams- Mumbai, to fulfil his dreams and over there he auditioned for many television shows and films. He also did endorsements for many big and popular brands.

After modeling for many big companies, Ajay met the popular producer of the Punjabi cinema- Gunbir Singh Sidhu, who advised Ajay to try his hand in Punjabi films and suggested him to audition at the White Hill Studios in Chandigarh. Around six months after Ajay’s audition, he recieved a call for ‘Ardab Mutiyaran’, from the White Hill Studios.

Ajay came to Chandigarh and read the script of the film and instantly fell in love with the film which showcases two modern love stories and is based on the youngsters of today’s generation, who want to live their lives on their own terms. With this film, Ajay is all set to make his big entry in the Punjabi film world. He will be playing the lead opposite Sonam Bajwa in the film. Other than Sonam and Ajay, the film also stars Ninja and Mehreen Pirzada along with a dozen of celebrated actors.

Ajay Sarkaria, will be playing the character of a businessman who belongs to a Baniya Hindu family, and who falls in love with a Jatt girl played by Sonam Bajwa, and marries her. The movie will touch the topic of inter caste marriages, which is a new concept in the Punjabi industry.

Ajay Sarkaria is very excited for the film and is looking forward to seeing the reaction of the audience. He thinks that this film is like an entrance test for him to enter and excel in the Punjabi cinema. The movie has been written by the popular writer Dheeraj Rattan, and has been directed by Manav Shah. Made under the banner of White Hill Studios in association with Towchain Motion Pictures, the film has been bankrolled by Manmord Sidhu and Gunbir Singh Sidhu. The fans are very excited for the film and are eagerly looking forward to its release.
