Allu Arjun Arrested in Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case: The Telangana High Court on Wednesday granted interim bail to popular actor Allu Arjun in connection with a case involving allegations under Sections 105(b) and 118 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The charges relate to conspiracy and abetment of unlawful acts, stemming from a recent tragedy that gained widespread attention.
During the hearing, the presiding judge raised pivotal questions about the applicability of these sections to the actor, noting, “Can the offence under Sections 105(b) and 118 be applied simply because he is an actor? Is he directly responsible for the tragedy that occurred?”
Allu Arjun’s legal team maintained that the actor had no involvement in the incident and that the charges were unfounded. They further emphasized that the allegations lacked evidence tying him to the events in question.
The interim bail provides temporary relief to the actor while the investigation continues. The court’s observations signal a need for further scrutiny of the charges and their alignment with the facts of the case.
The case, which has drawn significant public interest, is set for another hearing later this month. While fans and supporters of the actor have welcomed the interim bail order, others continue to call for a thorough and impartial investigation to ensure justice is served.
