Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Tania begin shooting for 'Qismat 2'

Qismat 2: The much-awaited sequel of the blockbuster Punjabi movie written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu is on floors now.

Actors Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Tania have started the shooting of 'Qismat 2'. It is worth mentioning that the film was initially announced by Virk and Mehta in July 2019 on their social media platform Instagram handle.

Writer-director Jagdeep Sidhu, who had made his directorial debut with Qismat, is directing Qismat 2 as well. It was in September 2019 that Sidhu had himself announced the release date of Qismat 2. It should be noted that the release date has it in it to further get changed.

However, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the release date was postponed to April next year. It is worth mentioning that Zee Studios has joined hands with Shri Narotam Ji Studios to bankroll Qismat 2. Zee Studios will also be distributing the movie.

A renowned name in Tips has also come onboard with respect to acquiring the music rights of the movie. Talking about the music, music director B Praak and lyricist Jaani are most likely to register another coup in Qismat 2.

Tania, who put on display a soul-stirring performance in Sidhu's 'Sufna' earlier this year, has buzz on her side regarding playing a special and contrasting role in Qismat 2.
