Punjabi artists are widening their wings and expanding their talents to different fields. Singers are turning into actors and they are not trying any one genre but many. Moreover, the artist is growing and amusing the audience to a vast level. Many Punjabi artists are not sticking to the Punjabi industry but are also working in Bollywood. One among them is Ammy Virk.
The singer and actor Ammy Virk, who enchants the audience with the film Maurh is now making headlines once again. In 2022, it has been noted that the Punjabi actor is working on a Bollywood film which also starrer Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri. The title of the film has not been decided but the shoot of the same has been completed on July 2.
The film was scheduled to hit the theatres on August 25, 2023, but Karan Johar has shared a fresh date which shows that the upcoming untitled Bollywood film will be released on February 23, 2024. Sharing the new date of release, Karan penned a beautiful message. He wrote, "A film that is exceptionally close to my heart for various reasons…." KJo further gave special thanks to everyone who is very close to the film.
Coming to the credits, directed by Anand Tiwari, the film has been jointly produced by Karan Johar and Amritpal Bindra. As the title of the film has not been disclosed but it has been speculated that the title is rumored to be 'Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam'.
Something concrete can only be said when an official announcement will be out, till then fans can only make guesses in the air and wait for the Ammy Virk’s Bollywood film to release in 2024.
