Amrinder Gill begins shooting for 'Chal Mera Putt 2': The singer-turned-actor-turned-producer has started the sequel of his blockbuster movie.

Singer-turned-actor-turned-producer Amrinder Gill has commenced shooting for his upcoming movie (potentially) titled 'Chal Mera Putt 2'. The movie is a sequel to Gill's blockbuster movie this year titled 'Chal Mera Putt'.

Released on July 26, a weekend which has seen Gill's home production house of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment giving super-hit movies to the Punjabi film industry for half-a-decade now, Chal Mera Putt became one of the rare movies to complete 50 days in cinema halls in the contemporary environment.

While there is no official announcement as of now, sources close to Punjabi Mania reveal that the movie is likely to be titled 'Chal Chal Mera Putt'.

Apart from Gill, the second part also stars the trio of Nasir Chinyoti, Akram Udas and Iftikhar Thakur. It is worth mentioning that there actress Simi Chahal will play the lead role opposite Gill in the sequel as well. Chahal took to her Instagram handle to share the glimpses of prayers being offered before the shoot.

Janjot Singh, who made his directorial debut with the first part, is directing the second part as well. Whether the makers will continue the story or put on display a new one in the sequel remains to be seen.
