In a heartwarming celebration of Punjabi culture, cricketer Abhishek Sharma and singer AP Dhillon marked Lohri together in Amritsar on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The duo was spotted enjoying traditional festivities, flying kites and embracing the vibrant spirit of the harvest festival.
Sharing glimpses of the celebration on Instagram, Sharma captioned his post, “Lohri feels like home,” expressing gratitude to Dhillon for making the day special. The pictures showcased a simple yet joyous gathering, reflecting a deep connection to Punjabi traditions and the cultural roots of the Majha region, which both stars hail from.
The event quickly drew attention online, with fans praising the crossover of sports and music icons coming together to honor heritage. Social media users appreciated the warmth and authenticity captured in the images, highlighting how public figures can bring communities closer through shared cultural celebrations.
This meet-up builds on their growing friendship. In December 2025, Sharma had joined Dhillon on stage during one of his concerts, marking another memorable moment that showcased the bond between the cricketer and the musician. Their Lohri celebrations further cemented a rare collaboration between sports and entertainment personalities rooted in Punjab’s traditions.
The festive gathering serves as a reminder of the enduring significance of Lohri and the joy of celebrating it with friends who share cultural pride.
