The 2016 blockbuster Ardaas is coming up with its second installment Ardaas Karaan. Like its first part, this one will also be directed by the multi talented artist Gippy Grewal. Gippy has mastered all the fields, from singing to acting to producing and directing. The movie is slated to release on 19 July this year and is nearing its release date and the entire team is actively promoting the film.

Like the first installment, the sequel will also be a serious drama showing the complexities of life and the power of Ardaas, which means ‘prayer’. The story of the film will cover various different lives and will also give an important message to the viewers. The movie aims to provide the audience with an experience more than just entertainment while watching the film.

The film is a Humble Motion Picture presentation, written, directed, and produced by Gippy Grewal, and co-produced by Ravneet Kaur Grewal. Gippy Grewal has written the film’s story and screenplay whereas the dialogues of the movie have been written by Rana Ranbir. The film stars a lineup of illustrious actors including Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Meher Vij, Sapna Pabbi, Malkeet Rauni, Rana Jung Bahadur, Meher Vij, Kuljinder Sidhu, Japji Khaira, Yograj Singh and Sardar Sohi.

The highlight of the film is that Gippy Grewal’s son- Gurfateh Singh Grewal and Rana Ranbir’s daughter- Seerat Rana, will make their debut in the Punjabi industry with this film. Both the young actors will definitely touch the audience’s heart with their acting.

The music of the film is definitely one of the strong points of the film and is getting an overwhelming response from the audience. The title track of the film has been sung by the Bollywood music sensation Sunidhi Chauhan. The teaser of the film is absolutely heart touching and soul stirring. Gippy Grewal has not released one full trailer of the film and is releasing the trailer in beautifully concocted chapters which reflect different stories and capture innumerable emotions.

After getting a stupendous response for the music, teaser and the chapters of the film, the team is extremely excited for the release of the movie. The fans are also excitedly and eagerly looking forward to the film.
