Punjabi films are growing, not only in terms of horizon, but also with their content. These days films are based on realistic stories with substantial content and strong and lifelike characters which makes them more relatable and interesting for the audience. The much talked about upcoming film ‘Ardab Mutiyaran’ is a good example for this statement, as the film is a mirror which reflects the current scenario of our society.

The film will deal with strong subjects like inter caste marriages, how a girl faces problems in her husband’s house after her wedding, and many more such topics which are very common in todays time. The film that stars Sonam Bajwa, debutante actor Ajay Sarkaria, Ninja and Mehreen Pirzada will show characters from different religions and professions. The movie will show an inter caste love affair that ends up in a marriage, between Sonam’s character of a Jatt girl and Ajay Sarkaria’s character which is of a Hindu boy.

The movie will give a strong message about inter caste and inter religion love affairs and marriages, which are very much prevalent in today’s society. Also both of them will be seen playing characters with different professions, and it would be interesting to see a love story between two people from extremely contrasting backgrounds. The movie will also show the problems faced by the girl after her wedding, will touch the concept of generation gap, and will show all the drama that follows a marriage.

Other than this, the movie will also showcase the love story and wedding of the second lead pair of the film- Ninja and Mehreen Pirzada. The film will have all the elements including romance, drama, comedy and family values. The movie will give a true picture of the society and will seed an important message in the minds of the audience.

Made under the banner of White Hill Studios in association with Towchain Motion Pictures, the film has been directed by Manav Shah and has been bankrolled by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu. The film will show strong female characters and will definitely be a women oriented movie. The movie is slated to release on 18 October 2019. The fans are excitedly looking forward to the film.
