Super dude Ashmit Patel who got recognition from thriller Murder and reality show Bigg Boss is going to step into Punjabi Cinema and is in Jalandhar to shoot for his debut Pollywood movie ‘Dil Sada Luteya Gaya’. He explores more about himself with Punjabi Mania.
After getting fame from thriller flick ‘Murder’ and a reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, the super stud and heartthrob Ashmit Patel is all geared up for his first Pollywood debut movie titled ‘Dil Sada Luteya Gaya’. The movie’s shoot has started a few days back in Jalandhar and will be completed by the month of December. Ashmit Patel who is better known for his sexy built and a flirty nature will surely burn the Punjabi Cinema with his debut Punjabi character.
Ask him how tough it is to talk in Punjabi Ashmit says, “Well, as it is my first Punjabi movie which was my dream to act in, I have to work little harder for the role. As I love challenging roles, so it won’t be much difficult for me to deliver dialogues in Punjabi. Most important is the body language that I have to work upon.”
Ashmit’s role in the movie would be quite fascinating and attractive. Revealing about his movie Ashmit shares, “The movie is directed by Hardeep Baddowal. It is purely a comedy and an entertaining movie. I am playing the role of Angad who is an adopted son of two fathers. Angad will remain bewildered all the time as he has to fulfill the desires of both fathers. He does breakfast twice as per his father’s wishes. And at later stage, a love triangle forms where two girls fall in love with him and then it again becomes dicey to choose among them. I am sure that viewers will love watching the movie as it encompasses various funny and light scenes that will surely tickle the funny bone of people.”
Prior entering into Punjabi Cinema, Ashmit was seen in numerous movies and TV reality shows. Born and brought up in ‘sapno ki nagri’ Mumbai, he started his career as an assistant director with well-known film director Vikram Bhatt. He madehis debut in acting with movie Inteha in 2003 followed by super hit thriller Murder that gave him fame and recognition. He was also featured as one of the finalists in the fourth season of reality show Bigg Boss.
For future, besides this Pollywood movie, he will be seen hosting a reality show Superdude Season 2 followed by two movies namely Saawariya- Khatu Shyamji Ki Amargaatha and Supermodel respectively.
