Mumbai: Avinash Mishra has walked away with the Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 title, defeating fellow finalists Rithvik Dhanjani and Orry in the season finale hosted by Rohit Shetty. The actor lifted the trophy on October 4 after a season packed with dangerous stunts, eliminations and unexpected challenges.
Mishra’s victory came with a lucrative prize package. Along with the winner’s trophy, he received ?20 lakh in cash, a car and an all-expenses-paid trip to Europe. The other two finalists were also rewarded with bikes following the conclusion of the competition.
Avinash Gets Emotional After Victory
The announcement of his name as the winner triggered an emotional reaction from Mishra. The actor was seen in tears on stage as he celebrated the result with host Rohit Shetty and the rest of the finalists.
For Mishra, the victory was about more than the prize money or trophy. During his post-win reflections, he explained that he had initially entered the show hoping to challenge perceptions about himself, but eventually realised that the biggest challenge was overcoming his own doubts.
He also described the psychological aspect of the competition, pointing out that completing a stunt often required contestants to control fear at the very moment when backing out could seem like the easiest option.
Strong Run From the Beginning
Mishra remained among the season's most consistent performers. He successfully completed every stunt he attempted without quitting midway, a record that helped establish him as one of the leading contenders.
Another major highlight came when he won the Swift Immunity Jacket challenge. The advantage gave him the ability to protect another contestant from elimination or choose not to use the privilege, adding another strategic dimension to his journey.
However, the actor had to contend with several formidable competitors. Farrhana Bhatt and Orry provided strong competition, while returning contestants Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani kept the contest unpredictable as the season progressed.
Season Ends With Two-Part Finale
The latest season also featured the early departures of Harsh Gujral and Rubina Dilaik, among other contestants, as the field gradually narrowed toward the final showdown.
The grand finale was presented in two parts, with the concluding episode telecast on Sunday. Viewers can also watch the season on JioHotstar.
Mishra’s win marks the culmination of a challenging stint in which he combined physical endurance with mental resilience to finish at the top of the competition.
