The superstar of the Punjabi industry, Punjabi singer and actor Babbu Maan is all set to make his comeback on the silver screen. Babbu Maan enjoys a very big fan base and the news of his comeback had delighted his fans as the heartthrob would be seen on the big screen after four years. The title of the film is Banjara- The Truck Driver and the movie will be released under the banner of Ohri Productions and Maan Films.

The movie is going to be different from the mainstream Punjabi cinema and it would portray three generations. The interesting fact is that Babbu Maan will be seen playing a triple role in the film. He will represent all three generations as he will play the role of a grandfather , a son and a grandson. He will be playing the character of a truck driver in the movie. The story will cover the partition period in 1947, the 1984 riots and the current time. The film will highlight the importance of relationships in life.

The movie has been directed by Mustaq Paasha and will star bollywood actress Shradha Arya opposite Babbu Maan in the lead role. Dheeraj Ratan has written the story of the film and the dialogues have been written by Surmeet Mavi. Other than the stellar lead pair, the movie also stars eminent actors like Rana Ranbir, Rana Alhuwalia, Jia Mustafa and many more. The movie will release on 7 December this year. The ecstatic fans are eagerly waiting for the film to shine on the silver screen.
