Rapper Badshah and actor Isha Rikhi have decided to end their marriage, bringing their brief union to a close just months after the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony.
The two announced on August 31 through matching statements posted on their Instagram Stories. In the message, they said the decision was mutual and asked the public to respect their privacy as they begin separate chapters of their lives.
The couple did not disclose what led to the separation. They also made it clear that they do not plan to issue further comments or discuss the circumstances surrounding their decision.
Their announcement puts an end to weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship. While Badshah and Rikhi had generally avoided making their personal lives a subject of public discussion, rumours about trouble in their marriage had begun circulating in recent months.

Badshah and Rikhi reportedly spent several years together before taking their relationship to the next stage. News of their marriage emerged in March 2026 after photographs from a low-key ceremony appeared online.
Rikhi’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, was among those who shared glimpses connected to the occasion. The couple themselves largely maintained a low profile and did not turn the wedding into a major public event.
Rikhi subsequently acknowledged the marriage during an Instagram question-and-answer session in June, offering one of the few public confirmations of their relationship.

Talk about possible problems between the couple intensified in July after Rikhi posted a collection of pictures and videos featuring herself and Badshah.
The post carried the line, “Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope,” accompanied by emotional emojis. Although the post did not explicitly mention marital difficulties, it prompted speculation among followers about whether the couple was going through a difficult period.
Neither Badshah nor Rikhi responded publicly to those reports at the time.
Their latest statement, however, confirms that the pair have chosen to separate. They have not provided any explanation beyond describing the decision as a mutual one.

The separation marks the end of Badshah’s second marriage. The rapper was previously married to Jasmine Masih, with their divorce finalised in 2020.
The former couple have a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, who was born in January 2017.
Badshah and Rikhi have now requested that speculation about their personal circumstances be avoided. With neither offering further details, the couple’s brief public chapter as husband and wife appears to have come to an end on a private note.
