Bai Ji Kuttange: The upcoming Punjabi movie will mark the first time coming together of director Smeep Kang and actor Dev Kharoud.

Ace director Smeep Kang and well-known actor Dev Kharoud have begun shooting of their first Punjabi movie together titled 'Bai Ji Kuttange'. It is worth mentioning that Kharoud was part of a promotional song in Kang's Binnu Dhillon-starer 'Naukar Vahuti Da' last year.

While Kang's last released film was a Hindi movie titled 'Jhootha Kahin Ka' (2019), Kharoud's last on-screen appearance was in Inderpal Singh's 'Zakhmi' earlier this year.

Other than Kharoud, Bai Ji Kuttange also stars a tried and tested pair in Gurpreet Ghuggi and Upasana Singh. With both of them having worked together under Kang on multiple occasions, their presence will doubtlessly add meat to an action-comedy such as Bai Ji Kuttange.

Produced by Nirupma under the banner of Santosh Entertainment Studio, Bai Ji Kuttange will be distributed worldwide by Omjee Star Studios.

Apart from the recently announced movie, Kharoud will also be seen in Navaniat Singh's 'Shareek 2' and Mandeep Benipal's 'Dakuaan Da Munda 2' in the near future. Kang, on the other hand, has nearly half-a-dozen announced movies which are at various stages of film-making and will release once cinema halls start operating in full flow in the state.
