Fans have been quite happy and satisfied with the Punjabi entertainment sector for the first six months of 2023. Since there is presumably not even a single week passed without a release of any movie. And by introducing fresh and original projects, the Punjabi cinema industry has expanded its horizons and scaled new heights. However, as we start a brand-new month and an entirely fresh quarter, we have a brand-new update on the impending movie. 

Titled Balle O Chalaak Sajjna starring a multiple-star cast, it will be released on August 4, 2023. Yes, you read that right. The shooting of the film has been completed and now it has reached the post-production stage. Directed by Royal Singh and written by Gurpreet Toti, the upcoming film features Raj Singh Jhinjar, Vikram Chouhan, Harshjot Kaur, Molina Sodhi, Nirmal Rishi, Rupinder Rupi, Prakash Gadhu, Raj Dhaliwal and more.

The film has been bankrolled by Param Sidhu, Sukhi Dhillon and Guri Pandher. Balle O Chalaak Sajjna will be released under the banners of Mainland Films in association with Mainsite Pictures.

Meanwhile, during the announcement of the film, the makers of Balle O Chalaak Sajjna hinted at the genre via their social media post that it will be a rom-com. The caption reads, “It's all about relationships and values ...Rishteya vich chalakiyaan nahi chaldiyan .... Announcing our new one .. world-wide..”
