Bharti Singh Supports Samay Raina Amid Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy: ‘Woh Show Hi Aisa Hai’

Comedian Bharti Singh has voiced her support for Samay Raina amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks on India’s Got Latent. While speaking to the paparazzi in Mumbai, Bharti defended Samay, calling him a talented individual loved by many. Notably, she had previously appeared on Samay’s show alongside her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa.

Bharti Singh’s Take on the Controversy

Bharti acknowledged the nature of the show but emphasized that it is up to the guests to decide what they wish to say.

“Woh show hi aisa hai, but zaroori nahi ki aap show mein jaake wahi bolo jo show ki requirement hai. Aapki marzi—bolo ya na bolo. Samay thodi kehta hai, ‘Arey, muh kholo, bolo!’ Samay bohot accha ladka hai aur talented bhi hai. Gen-Z ka pasand hai woh. Khud jaoge toh uske fan ho jaoge. Itna accha hai,” she said, as quoted by The Indian Express.

She further pointed out that while some may not appreciate Samay’s style of humor, his audience enjoys his content.

“Agar uski language jo use karta hai woh pasand nahi hai, toh millions hai aur hum hi hai, jo Samay Raina lagate hai aur dekhte hain,” she added.

Other Celebrities Speak Out

Bharti isn’t the first celebrity to back Samay. Earlier, Poonam Pandey urged people to forgive Ranveer Allahbadia, writing on X (formerly Twitter):

"Been reading so much about @BeerBicepsGuy… Bas Karo yaar, Galti ho Gayi Usse… Bacche Ki Jaan Loge? Maaf kardo yaar."

Similarly, Rakhi Sawant also spoke out, stating that while Ranveer was wrong, he should be forgiven.

“Forgive him yaar. It’s okay, happens sometimes. I know he did wrong, but forgive him.”

The Backlash and Legal Consequences

Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia have been under fire following Allahbadia’s controversial remarks on India’s Got Latent. During a recent episode, BeerBiceps allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and proposed an indecent act in exchange for ?2 crore.

The controversy escalated further when he posed a shocking question:

“Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?”

The remark sparked widespread outrage, with social media users, politicians, and film industry figures condemning Allahbadia’s behavior. A police complaint has since been filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and co-judges Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija.
