The upcoming season of Bigg Boss is taking audience participation to an entirely new level. Ahead of its much-anticipated premiere, the makers have announced a one-of-a-kind twist, viewers will decide who joins the contestant lineup between two well-known faces: Shehnaaz Gill’s brother, Shehbaz Badesha, and digital creator, Mridul Tiwari.
This interactive format, called “Fans Ka Faisla”, marks the first time the reality show has opened its doors with a public vote even before the official entry.
Shehbaz Badesha, known for his earlier guest appearances on the show, expressed his eagerness for a full-fledged run. “In the past, I’ve only made brief appearances—either to support Shehnaaz or as a guest. This time, it could be my story unfolding. I’m bringing unfiltered, unpredictable, and unapologetic energy. If you want someone who won’t play it safe, vote for me,” he said.
On the other side, Mridul Tiwari, who has carved a niche as a sharp-witted social media personality, is equally determined. “Bigg Boss isn’t just entertainment, it’s a battleground. I’m here with my wit, my strategy, and the courage to stand my ground. No sugar-coating, no hiding—just pure competition. I trust the audience to choose authenticity,” he remarked.
With Salman Khan returning as host, Bigg Boss 19 promises a mix of unpredictable drama, strong personalities, and direct fan engagement from the get-go. The season kicks off on August 24, streaming on JioCinema at 9 PM and airing on COLORS at 10:30 PM.
The voting is now open, and fans have just one question to answer: Who will they send into the house — Shehbaz or Mridul?
