The latest season of Bigg Boss 19 has been keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, with unexpected evictions and twists shaking up the house. After a string of shocking exits, including the mid-week departure of Mridul Tiwari, fans are now speculating whether this Weekend Ka Vaar will bring another elimination.
According to insider reports, the makers have decided not to evict any contestant this weekend. With Mridul already leaving mid-week, the team seems to be giving housemates a brief reprieve from the ongoing eviction frenzy. The recent weeks have been dramatic, with double evictions and surprise mid-week exits claiming a total of five contestants, leaving fans both stunned and disappointed.
This week’s nominations also stirred up tension in the house. In a captaincy task, Gaurav Khanna was offered the captaincy, but with a catch: all housemates except him would be nominated for eviction. Gaurav accepted the role, angering many contestants, with Amaal Mallik calling the decision “unfair.” The house then overturned Gaurav’s captaincy through a ‘satta palat’ move, giving immunity to Shehbaz Badesha instead and placing Gaurav in the danger zone for the week.
The previous weekends were no less dramatic. Abhishek Bajaj and Neelam Giri were ousted in a surprise double eviction, while Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali also exited the house in the weeks before. These abrupt eliminations, coupled with Mridul Tiwari’s mid-week exit, sparked outrage among fans, many of whom criticized the show for being “scripted” and unfair. After his eviction, Mridul commented on social media:
"If the public feels it’s unfair, then that’s how it is. The audience's opinion matters, and if they feel it’s unfair, then that’s the reality."
With this week’s reprieve, fans can expect the housemates to regroup and strategize ahead of the next big twist in Bigg Boss 19, as host Rohit Shetty continues to oversee the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes.
