In a captaincy task, Gaurav Khanna was offered the captaincy, but with a catch: all housemates except him would be nominated for eviction. Gaurav accepted the role, angering many contestants, with Amaal Mallik calling the decision “unfair.” The house then overturned Gaurav’s captaincy through a ‘satta palat’ move, giving immunity to Shehbaz Badesha instead and placing Gaurav in the danger zone for the week.

The previous weekends were no less dramatic. Abhishek Bajaj and Neelam Giri were ousted in a surprise double eviction, while Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali also exited the house in the weeks before. After his eviction, Mridul commented on social media:
