Among the contenders is Punjabi actress and model Love Gill, who has been associated with Punjabi films, television and music videos. Her appearance in the latest promo has caught the attention of Punjabi entertainment fans, with viewers now getting the opportunity to determine whether she makes her way into the Bigg Boss house.
Love Gill is up against Rhiya Ahir, another name featured in the voting segment. The makers have left the choice entirely with the audience, making the upcoming entry a result of fan participation rather than a conventional contestant announcement.
In the promo, Salman introduces the concept by telling viewers that they too deserve a say in deciding who gets the opportunity to enter the house. Fans can cast their votes for their preferred contender through the JioHotstar app. The voting window is currently open and is scheduled to close on September 2 at 11:59 pm, with the winning contender expected to be revealed around the show's premiere.
For Love Gill, the nomination marks a potential crossover from the Punjabi entertainment industry to one of India's most-watched Hindi reality television platforms.
