A Diwali special episode of Bigg Boss 20 took an uncomfortable turn after comedian Gaurav Gupta’s roasting session sparked a heated exchange with ScoutOP and Love Gill. What began as light-hearted humour soon became a tense moment, with the comedian’s remarks about Scout’s personal life and his equation with Love and girlfriend Kaashvi Hiranandani drawing strong reactions.
Gaurav appeared alongside host Salman Khan and began poking fun at several aspects of Scout’s journey in the house. While the gamer initially appeared to take the jokes in good spirit, the mood changed when the comedian brought Love and Kaashvi into the conversation. He referred to Scout as someone operating with “two remotes”, suggesting that both women had a role in his current situation.
Gaurav also recalled Scout allegedly telling Love that she reminded him of Kaashvi. Taking another dig at the gamer, he joked about Scout’s appearance and his changing expressions around Love. His remarks about Scout’s massage sessions also became part of the roasting segment, with the comedian making a sarcastic comment about the contestant being a feminist.
However, Love was visibly displeased when Gaurav turned his attention towards her. She responded sharply, telling him that he needed therapy, leading to a brief verbal confrontation. Gaurav then brought Salman Khan and Rohit Shetty into the exchange, suggesting that Love did not listen to them either. Love countered that she respected both personalities but felt the comedian was taking the discussion in an inappropriate direction. She made it clear that she was not willing to accept the remarks.
The disagreement did not end when Gaurav left the stage. Scout was later seen discussing the incident with YUNG DSA and Aamrapali Gupta, expressing strong displeasure over the comedian bringing his relationship into the jokes. He questioned why Kaashvi had been dragged into the conversation and denied ever making the statement attributed to him about seeing her in Love.
Scout said he had no objection to comedians making jokes but felt there should be limits when it came to personal matters. He also criticised the remarks about his appearance and warned that Gaurav could face backlash for crossing what he considered a line. The gamer maintained that humour should not become an excuse to make personal attacks.
The controversy comes amid ongoing discussions about Scout and Love’s closeness inside the house. Both contestants have repeatedly described their relationship as that of siblings, although their frequent interactions have attracted attention and speculation among viewers.
The issue also became a talking point after Kaashvi confronted Scout during a previous Weekend Ka Vaar episode, questioning the boundaries in his friendship with Love. Kaashvi subsequently faced criticism over certain comments she made about Love. She later apologised, explaining that her intention was to question Scout’s conduct rather than target another woman.
