The prodigious duo- Smeep Kang and Gippy Grewal are all geared up to shine at the box office. The mind blowing duo has worked together in the blockbuster Carry On Jatta Series, and now both the talented artists are all set for their next film together, which they had announced earlier this year. The highlight of this film is that this time Gippy will not be in front of the camera, but will be donning the producer’s hat for this Smeep Kang directorial film. The title of the movie is Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi.
Like Carry On Jatta, this film will also be a romantic comedy packed with loads of drama and entertainment. The release date of the movie, which was earlier scheduled as 26 June 2020, has been postponed. Now the film is slated to release on 17 July 2020. The reason for the change in the release date is unknown, but it might have been because Diljit Dosanjh and Amrinder Gill’s film ‘Jodi’ is lined up for release on the same day that is June 26 next year.
The lead starcast of ‘Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi’ has been disclosed by the makers. The film will star the king of comedy of the Punjabi industry- Binnu Dhillon and the Jatt James Bond actress- Zareen Khan. Gippy Grewal and Zareen Khan, who were seen together in the superhit film Jatt James Bond, share a great bond and will be seen together as the lead jodi in the upcoming film Daaka. After Jatt James Bond and Daaka, this film will be Bollywood actress- Zareen Khan’s third film in the Punjabi film industry. Binnu Dhillon and Zareen Khan will share the screen space for the the first time in Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi.
The movie will be produced by Gippy Grewal, under the banner of his own production house Humble Motion Pictures. The movie will be distributed worldwide by the renowned Omjee Star Studios. The audience is super excited for this project and is eagerly looking forward to more details about the film.
