Punjabi cinema is growing and expanding in all directions. Every other day, a new film is announced or released. One more entry has been added to the long list of films that have been announced this year. The title of the film has not been revealed by the makers.

The movie will star none other than the heartthrob and one of the most talented artists of the Punjabi industry – Gippy Grewal. The actor was last seen in the film Ardaas Karaan, which had released this month and is still running successfully in the cinemas and is breaking box office records with its performance.

The upcoming film has gone on floors and the shooting of the film has started. The highlight of the film is that Bollywood actress Neha Sharma, will play the female lead opposite Gippy Grewal in the movie. Neha Sharma has acted in a dozen of Bolywood films and is known for her work in movies like Crook, Youngistaan, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 and Kyaa Super Cool Hain Hum. The actress who has also done many Tamil, Malyalam and Telegu films, will make her Punjabi industry debut with this movie.

The film is being made under the banner of Golden Bridge Films & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and is being directed by Rakesh Mehta, who has also directed films like Yaara Ve, Vaapsi and Rang Punjab. Maneesh Bhatt is the DOP of the film. The complete starcast of the movie has not been revealed by the makers yet. The release date of the film, the title of movie and the genre has also been kept under wraps.

The fans are very excited to see the new jodi on the silver screen. The audience is also thrilled by the fact that Neha Sharma will be making her debut in the Punjabi industry with this movie. The fans are eagerly looking forward to more details about the film.
