Box Office: Needhi Singh, Punjabi Movie

Day 1

Kulraj Randhawa starrer Needhi Singh has released today and to be fair, the film has got decent number of shows but that is only because no other big film has released in the region. The film has opened to an occupancy of around 0-3% and at many places the shows had to be cancelled. We tried watching the film in Chandigarh, but the shows were cancelled due to lack of audience. We will try watching the film tomorrow and give you the review.

Day 2

Finally we saw the film and are ready with the review which you can fins on the website. The shows for Needhi Singh were reduced at some cinemas today itself which wasn’t a surprise as we ourselves are evident of the lack of audiences. Our team saw the film in Chandigarh on a Saturday evening show and there were just 9 people in the hall which has a capacity of 240.

Opening Weekend

Read Report: Needhi Singh has a lacklustre Opening Weekend.

Needhi Singh collected Rs. 17,00,000 Gross in it’s opening weekend in East Punjab region. In overseas markets, the film wasn’t released in many screens. In North America the film was released on a mere 10 screens and there too the film were sharing screens with other films. The collections in US/Canada region were US$ 4727 (Rs. 3,26,163).

Week 1

Read Report: Needhi Singh performs poorly in Week 1.

If Needhi Singh collected Rs 17,00,000 in it’s Opening Weekend, then it could add only another Rs. 14,00,000 on the remaining 4 weekdays taking it’s total to Rs. 31,00,000 gross in East Punjab region. The film has collected very poorly and shall finish among the bottom grossers of the year.
