Buhe Bariyan Review
The first look poster for "Buhe Bariyan" places all the women in the front, defying the belief that cinema is a male-dominated industry. And as the full-fledged movie has been out so we get to know that not only cinema but our real life is also influenced by males. The story of Buhe Bariyan revolves around the discrimination faced by women. Not only this, they are considered as the puppet of males who always make them feel ashamed and weak.
But women in the Punjabi industry join their hands and open the eyes of society to show the actual place of women. This revolutionary story has been written by Jagdeep Warring who has lately worked in Punjabi film Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye along with director Uday Pratap Singh. The director has also worked in Buhe Bariyan and presented this amazing story in front of an audience. His visual thoughts have been clearly seen in the latest flick.
The two are the real backbone of the Punjabi industry which displays Neeru Bajwa, Nirmal Rishi, Simran Chahal, Seema Kaushal, Gurpreet Bhangu and others as the heroes of society.
In terms of performance, Simran Chahal, who made her acting debut in Punjabi cinema, gets a significant role in the film. Simran, who plays Raavi, has come from a foreign country and brings modernization to the narrative while the rest of us are witnessing desi ladies.
Further, Neeru Bajwa who is wisely known as the queen of the Punjabi industry once again proved her potential. It seems like we saw the real Neeru Bajwa in Buhe Bariyan. She portrays the role of Prem Kaur and much appreciation and love for her character.
Moreover, Nirmal Rishi who adds extra charm to the movie shows her courage, boldness and power of women's equality in the film. Each and every stance of Nirmal Rishi as Bhuro has made us believe in ourselves.
Additionally, Rubina Bajwa, Seema Kaushal, Jatinder Kaur, Rupinder Rupi, Gurpreet Bhangu, Baljinder Kaur, Pawan Johal, Dharminder Kaur, Anita Meet, and other actress in the movie has produced more fearlessness in us.
But we cannot forget Malkeet Rauni, Prakash Gadhu, Sukhwinder Raj, Deepak Niaz, as without these personalities Buhe Bariyan is incomplete. Like women empowerment, men are also important, and this film shows how to deal with the negative person so that his importance doesn’t get affected.
Meanwhile, the music album of Buhe Bariyan has our heart, especially the title track and song Chimta by Jaswinder Brar. Moreover, the BGM has also kept us hooked to the entire film, we laughed, we cried and in fact showed our anger towards male dominated society.
In short, Buhe Bariyan is a must watch film. And if you think and know men who have self as well as overconfidence then do not forget to take with him in cinema halls so that he could see the reality. Overall ‘Buhe Bariyan’ has the potential to be a masterpiece of cinema that captures the unbreakable spirit of women. Team Punjabi Mania recommend you to watch the film in a nearby theatre.
