Finally, after a long wait, the Punjabi film Carry On Jatta 3 featuring Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa has been released. Fans of the comedy-drama are talking a lot about it. And the film has been shining at the box office and shattered every record. On day 1, it opened to an estimated 10 crores in box office revenue. According to reports, it has surpassed Honsla Rakh, which was the largest Punjabi opener up until this point and starred Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, and Shehnaaz Gill. Not only this, Carry On Jatta 3 has been creating history day by day.
The film was released on Thursday and since then it has been gaining a positive response at the box office. Moreover, behind this success is the hard work of Carry On Jatta 3’s team and their highly inclined promotions. The promotion of the film started almost a month ago which created buzz among the public.
The trailer of Carry On Jatta 3 was launched on a big platform in Mumbai. And Bollywood star Aamir Khan was part of the trailer launch. He entered by shaking his legs on the beats of dhol. And the video of Aamir Khan breaking into a bhangra with Punjabi actor Gippy Grewal might be the perfect antidote to your weekday blues. It has created hype among Bollywood bluffs too. Along with Aamir Khan, the team of Carry On Jatta 3 was also seen with Kapil Sharma during the trailer launch.
Apart from this, Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa also joined Salman Khan on Bigg Boss OTT season 2 to promote the film after its release. As Gippy and Sonam graced the house as they promoted the third instalment of the franchise 'Carry on Jatta 3'. These stars also bring their charm and energy to the show, bringing forth their brand of Punjabi magic with host Salman Khan adding in his swag. The episode went quite well and we also witnessed Salman Khan congratulating Gippy Grewal and praising Punjabi Cinema. Khan said, “Your movies are working better than ours; your regional industry is doing great.”
And this is only witnessed in Cinemas Halls where audiences are going crazy with this rib-tickling film. Like the first part, the third instalment of Carry On Jatta has also become a cult classic among all Punjabi speakers due to its innovative attempt at situational humor which was never done before in the industry. It has been setting new bars for Punjabi cinema and the comedy genre.
But not only Punjab, but it has also been setting quite a new bar for Pakistan too. Carry On Jatta 3 received a huge response and love in Pakistan. Smeep Kang’s directorial has been doing wonders in our neighbouring country. As the film features Nasir Chinyoti who knows how to steal the show. People from Pakistan love everyone in the film and this is the reason he will do films based on Pakistan or Pakistani stories. The film will be titled ‘Jinne Lahore Ni Dekhya’. It will be the first Punjabi film to be shot in Lahore. Fans are super excited for the same too.
