Anything which singer-turned-actor-turned-producer Amrinder Gill does these days gets instant attention primarily because of his selective line of work from the last few years. Last seen in debutant director Janjot Singh's 'Chal Mera Putt', Gill is all set to appear in the sequel of the movie which will release on March 13 and has allured immediate attention once again.

The trailer of 'Chal Mera Putt 2' released just over a couple of hours ago on the official YouTube channel of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment. At the time of writing this article, it has surpassed three lakh views on the same platform.

Chal Mera Putt 2 will witness Gill, Simi Chahal, Gurshabad, Hardeep Gill, Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti and Akram Udas continue their pivotal roles in the franchise.

Singer-turned-actor Garry Sandhu, who had made his acting debut in 'Romeo Ranjha' (2014) and hasn't acted ever since, will be seen on the celluloid after six years. Other than Sandhu and veteran actress Nirmal Rishi and renowned Pakistani actors in Zafri Khan and Ruby Anum are the other three novel additions to the franchise.

Much like the first part, Chal Mera Putt 2 has also been written and directed by Rakesh Dhawan and Janjot Singh respectively.

Chal Mera Putt, which was highly admired for its humour and realistic depiction of illegal immigrants in a foreign country, appears to have not left behind both its strengths in Chal Mera Putt 2.

It is evident from the trailer that the comic element has once again being kept at the helm by Rakesh Dhawan and Janjot Singh. While Sandhu's addition will revolve around the lovey-dovey part of the franchise, Zafri Khan and Ruby Anum look set to convulse the audiences with laughter.

It wouldn't be wrong to say that the second part gives the feel of a second season of a contemporary web-series although being a feature film. Similar execution as that in the first part should work wonders for the second part as well.
