Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya Trailer Review
While periodic Punjabi movies have both portrayed the times of pre and post-independent India, Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya appears to be a story based in the first decade of the 20th century.
Included in the firsts of Punjabi movies to portray a foreign location of the 1900s, the movie seems to have already nailed the challenge of showing a different era in a sense of absolute wholeness. From locations to clothers to the technical aspects, the movie encompasses of a lot of potential.
Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya is in likeliness of being a story of Punjabi immigrants who travel to a different country in search of livelihood. Characters raising concerns around labour rights, unfair working hours and wages are the early impressions of the movie being ahead of its time.
