Girl students from several schools of tricity put up an impressive show at the Chandigarh Fun Carnival in Sector 34 here. The school students belonged to both government and private schools. Fancy Dress Competition left the audience spellbound.
There were two categories in the fancy dress competition of different age groups including 5 to 10 and 10 to 12. During this competition fancy dress, cat walk and declamation contests were held.
Dalbir Singh, organiser of the carnival informed that children have hidden talent and are always on a lookout to find a platform for the same. He said this initiative was to encourage the girl child. On 11th November Boys Fancy Dress Competition would be held besides several other such events, and the winners will be felicitated on November 28.
