The Punjabi film Mastaney based on unsung Sikh warriors has finally been released. The film which was out on August 25 has been receiving much love and praise from fans and viewers. They love the concept and story of Mastaney. Not only this, the huge cinematography and direction is one of the USP of this film. Along with viewers, Punjab’s CM Bhagwant Mann has also relished the makers and praised the film.
CM Mann along with his wife Dr Gurpreet Kaur was present at the press conference of Mastaney. While appreciating the team Mastaney, CM said that he’s proud of filmmakers who are taking courageous steps in showcasing new genres and concepts. Not only this, by making non-fictional films and biographies they are widening their skills and making their name around the globe.
To enhance their capability, CM Mann has further added that the government will support everyone and is making a film city so that not only Punjabi makers but Bollywood and Hollywood films shall also be made in Punjab’s film city. Further, the honourable CM celebrated Punjabi cinema and highlighted the film’s unique description. A convergence of art and leadership, facilitating cultural appreciation.
Now speaking of the film Mastaney, features Tarsem Jassar, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Honey Mattu, Karamjit Anmol, Baninder Bunny and Simi Chahal in the lead roles. Apart from these amazing star cast, Rahul Dev, Arif Zakaria and Avtar Gill are supported as an antagonist in the film. Mastaney released multiple languages like Punjabi, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.
The film has been produced by Manpreet Johal with Aashu Munish Sahni and Karamjit Singh Johal. Written and directed by Sharan Art, the film’s captivating performances left the audience in wonder and spectacle.
