Gippy Grewal is at such a stage of his career where he seems to be not just choosing the right things and executing them in an even better manner but also thinking the right things. The trailer of his next Punjabi movie titled ‘Daaka’ confirms the same.

The reason why it is more of Grewal’s movie is because he has written it, played the lead role and also produced it. It is worth mentioning that Daaka will be Grewal’s fourth movie as an actor and third as a writer and producer this year. The movie will also mark Grewal’s third association this year with Baljit Singh Deo, who has directed the movie.

The trailer of the movie released just over an hour ago on the official YouTube channel of T-Series. At the time of writing this article, it has received in vicinity of a lakh views on the same platform.

Zareen Khan, who made her debut in the Punjabi industry opposite Grewal in ‘Jatt James Bond’ (2014), will be once again seen playing the lead role in a Punjabi movie. Apart from the lead pair, Daaka also stars Rana Ranbir, Mukul Dev, Hobby Dhaliwal, Baninder Bunny, Shavinder Mahal and others.

Burdened by a couple of daunting situations, Grewal will attempt to rob a bank in his village Koom Kalan. While Grewal indulges in the unlawful act in a bid to decrease the burden, he will be seen getting entangled in a different problem altogether.

Whether he will be able to bail himself out of the new situation or not will only be known after watching the movie in cinema halls on November 1. Daaka has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur Grewal under the banners of T-Series and Humble Motion Pictures.
