The Punjabi heartthrob and superstar, Dev Kharoud is all set for his upcoming film Blackia. Currently, the actor is actively promoting the film which is going to hit the screens on 3 May this year. Blackia, is being produced by Vivek Ohri, the man behind films like Shareek, Jindua, Mel Karade Rabba, Jihne Mera Dil Luteya and many more.

Being made under the banner of Ohri Productions, the film will be directed by Sukhminder Dhanjal. The story, screenplay and dialogues have been written by Inderpal Singh. Ihana Dhillon will play the lead opposite Dev Kharoud in the movie. Besides Dev Kharoud and Ihana Dhillon in the lead we will see Rana Jung Bahadur, Ashish Duggal, Arsh Hundal and Sanju Solanki as well. The film will be released worldwide by PTC Motion Pictures and Globe Moviez.

Whenever it comes to movies based on real society issues, the first name that comes in mind is of Dev Kharoud who has made his own space in the industry which is dominated by mostly singer turned actors. Dev is known for playing substance roles and strong characters and making quality films which are different from the rest of the Punjabi cinema.

Dev, who gained popularity in 2015, after his performance in the film Rupinder Gandhi, has had his own share of struggles in the industry. After doing theatre for several years, Dev had made his debut in 2010 with the film Kabaddi- Ikk Mohabbat, but came into limelight in 2015 after the release of Rupinder Gandhi. After his first hit, there was no looking back for the talented actor. He has never disappointed the fans with his performance and has made very good choices in terms of signing films. Now he is known as the ultimate action hero of the industry.
