Indore: Renowned Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has addressed allegations regarding the black marketing of tickets for his concerts. Speaking directly to his audience during his concert in Indore on Sunday, the artist defended himself against accusations that he is responsible for ticket scalping.
In an Instagram video posted after the event, Diljit candidly explained his stance on the issue. "How is it my fault that it is happening? If you are buying tickets for Rs 10 and selling them for Rs 100, then how is it the artist's fault?" he questioned.
The allegations have sparked a debate about accountability for black ticketing, with fans raising concerns about accessibility and fairness at live events. Diljit’s response highlights the challenges faced by artists in controlling unauthorized ticket sales despite having no direct involvement.
The incident occurred as part of Diljit’s Dil-Luminati tour, which has been drawing large crowds across India. Fans have shown unwavering support for the star, many agreeing with his remarks and blaming unauthorized resellers for exploiting concert-goers.
As the discussion continues, Diljit’s candid response has won praise for its honesty, emphasizing the need for event organizers to address such issues more effectively.
