Recently we shared the announcement and the release date of Diljit Dosanjh’s next film- Honsla Rakh. The fans were exhilarated on hearing the announcement and the news created a lot of buzz and excitement amongst the Punjabi audience.

Opposite Diljit Dosanjh, the film stars actresses Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill in the lead roles. Diljit has earlier shared the silver screen with Bajwa in Punjab 1984, Sardaar Ji 2 and Super Singh, whereas the upcoming film will be his first movie with the model turned singer turned actor- Shehnaaz Gill.

The shooting of Honsla Rakh has started and Diljit and Shehnaaz posted cute clicks with one another during the shoot of the film on their Instagram handles. The fans are excited to see their favourite duo- Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa on the big screen and are also eagerly looking forward to the new and fresh jodi of Diljit and Shehnaaz.

The film is being bankrolled by Daljit Thind and Diljit Dosanjh under the banners of Thind Motion Films and Storytime Productions. The film is being directed by the Kala Shah Kala and Jhalle fame director Amarjit Singh Saron. The movie has been written by the celebrated writer of the Punjabi industry- Rakesh Dhawan. Baljeet Singh Deo is the DOP of the project.

The movie will hit the screens on Dusshera this year that is on 15 October 2021. The highlight of the film is that Gippy’s son- Shinda Grewal will play the pivotal character of Diljit’s son in the movie. Alongside the main leads of the the film, the film will have a handful of talented artists in important roles. The fans are excited for the film and are looking forward to its release.
